I ordered in some 720kb floppies... been having some oddities with the control, and was suggested to reinstall the OS.
So before I did that, I wanted to back up everything... and apparently there are things it wont let you back up vis RS232 - or at least I cant figure out how/where to do it.
I got the pitch error, programs, and ePaks, but havent found where to get the back lash out (or back in for that matter)... so I figured the answer was a floppy, since when in the floppy page, it has and option to output "ALL" - So I got some disks, but when I try and format - I get a CP/M 2DD ERROR
I cant find it in the books anywhere, but guessing its an issue with the floppy or the drive, or the process.... guessing - with the quality of Floppies the last 10 years - its probably a case of crappy disks.
Ive tried taking some of my older 1.44mb floppies, taping over the hole, and getting them to format as 720kb - but have not had one work yet...
So Im guessing one of two things... I have a bad floppy, or the more likely - I am not doing something right.
Any suggestions or direction? Apparently my machine does not have the DOS option, only the native Mits language - what ever that might be - CP/M I suspect?
Thanks
Wade
